The Wyern race are predominantly male born, with the occasional female, but any heir of a Wyern is blessed with the shifted form. The Wyern race was first recorded ten thousand years ago, drawn simply as winged males on stone walls found within Goldway City. There are many more records of Wyerns spread around the many cities of Wyvcelm but none more than the Forgotten Lands. Not much information is known on the Forgotten Lands as guests are not invited into the deep cavern cities and castles. When the great Wyern began, it was said to be started by the birth of a child who was to be king. Many of the Wyerns believed this child was prophesied to give his seed to the fae, and together they would rule the entire world. The fae and Wyerns came together to give this future a chance, but as records show, this only ended in the Wyern race banished from Ethereal City, Goldway City and Junepit City.
